Welcome

The Sample Coffee Handbook is:

• A hub for all our documents, policies and formalised procedures at Sample Coffee.

• A place to inform all staff members about their rights and duties as part of our workforce.

• An open-source guide to set an example and inspire other businesses to establish their own (the same way Code for Australia did for us with theirs).

The platforms where we store all related content are:

• GitBook (here)

  • Processes and policies that are not commercially sensitive and which we are happy to share with the public.

• Google Drive

  • Private: Organisational documents that are commercially sensitive and for the current team's eyes only.

  • Public: Processes and policies that we are happy to share (which are usually found and accessed through our website or embedded in this GitBook).

• Our website

  • General procedures, systems and other content.

The platforms we use for internal communications, aside from verbally IRL or via phone/text, are:
